I would not be where I am today without a few important people out there helping me navigate these new waters!

Gila Taylor – AKA, The Mother!
My mum is my inspiration!
She’s been right behind me all the way in this process of setting up my own business. My mum has a great eye for all things gorgeous! She has always loved clothes and I take after her with my passion.
When she isn’t talking me down off the ledge, so to speak (and by golly, I am often tearing my hair out!) she is my Chief Purchasing Director! Alongside myself, she curates all the accessories and clothing. Sitting over in Nottingham, and operates as my partner over in England, whilst both the Rona and Brexit make getting home myself impossible.
If that wasn’t enough, she advises me and cheers me on, even when the going gets so tough I feel like giving up. Having run her own businesses over the years, she knows exactly where to focus, and how to move forward.
It’s quite simple: I wouldn’t be where I am today without her!
The Photography Team
Andre Siebert – when not being a photographer, is a managing partner at Ventuz Technologies
On 16th December, with 48 hours notice, small businesses were locked down again. So, having only been trading for 7 months Fab Old Things needed to do something to keep in contact with our small customer base. That meant getting jiggy with social media and this website. My biggest challenge was how to do some decent photography, and so I asked the local neighbourhood for some advice in pic-taking! How to set up a shot…
What I hadn’t expected was that a neighbour not only answered my plea for help, he actually set up a professional photography studio in my shop, and proceeded to take all the modelled pictures on this site! And post-produce them….and, like a creative Guardian Angel, did it all for free! I put a call-out to my customers to please, please come and be models for us, and in less than a week, we were knees deep in a 2-day photoshoot! Exhausting, fun and completely humbling that these 6 people would jump in without any question, in these dark times, to help me and my business out!

The Corona Virus may suck big time, but it can’t keep this list of fantastically kind people down! I can never thank them enough ❤️
